- Multi-Store Retailer
Shopper's Choice
Shopper's Choice allows shoppers to choose the in-store pickup process that works best for their needs.
Like Ship to Store, Shopper's Choice allows a shopper to select a retail store for order pickup from a list that's presented at checkout.
But with Shopper's Choice, the shopper also selects the action that takes place if the retailer does not have the item in-stock for immediate pickup. The shopper can either pick the item up at the store at a later date or have it shipped to their address.
How it Works
- Shopper places online order and selects "in-store pickup" at checkout
- The checkout screen lists stores where the order can be picked up
- Shopper selects their favorite store for pickup from the list
- Shopper specifies what should be done if their order is not in stock and ready for immediate pickup
- Shopper may select to have the order ship to the retailer and pick it up at the store (free shipping)
- Shopper may select to have the order shipped to their address (standard shipping fees apply)
Sample Applications
- Retail chains that send shoppers into stores to pick up online orders, giving shoppers added convenience
- Branded manufacturers that send shoppers into authorized retailers, but also give customers alternate delivery methods if the product is not available for immediate pickup
