Operate a separate, password-protected online store for VIPs, industry pros and employees. Limit access to this store to a specified group. Control discount levels by individual and group. Shopatron's VIP capabilities are an easy add-on to any Shopatron online store or website. The functionality is supported in Professional and Enterprise editions.
Discount Management

Discount groups
Control which discounts to apply to a customer group. Example: Group A gets 20% off widgets and Group B gets 10% off widgets.

Combine discount types and assign to one or more groups for optimizing store performance.

On product pages, the customer sees the appropriate price and discounts for their discount level.

Authentication Capabilties

Option 1: Email address authentication
To enter store, customer needs only to enter a valid, pre-registered email address.

Option 2: Password authentication
To enter store, customer needs only to enter a valid password which has been pre-authorized.

Option 3: Email address + Password authentication
To enter store, customer needs both a valid, pre-registered email address and a valid, pre-authorized password.

Purchase limits
Control how much each customer can buy. Filter by category and product. Set time parameters for purchase limits (e.g. authorized to buy $100 per year of product).
Shipping Address Restriction

Option 1: Locked from first order
Once an authenticated customer has used a shipping address for the first order, this shipping address must be used for subsequent orders. Helps the VIP store limit purchasing to VIPs.

Option 2: Locked by merchant/manufacturer
The merchant/manufacturer determines and pre-loads the validated shipping address for each authenticated customer.

Option 3: Unlocked
The customer can use any shipping address for any order placed within the VIP store.
Customer Data
- Secure storage and retrieval
Secure storage and retrieval of key customer data. If configured to be used in merchant's store: email address, password, locked shipping address, discount group, and activity information are stored.

Customer data can be maintained through a simple web interface, an upload/download spreadsheet wizard, and a "Create User" API.
