Shopatron Hits 500 Customer Mark
Shopatron, the leading provider of eCommerce solutions for consumer goods manufacturers, today announced that it has signed its 500th customer. This milestone was achieved through the addition of more than 200 new branded manufacturers in the past twelve months.
Shopatron’s customer base of more than 500 consumer goods manufacturers includes brands of all sizes, such as Panasonic, Callaway Golf, Brooks Running, Melissa and Doug, Thule Car Racks and Spy Optic, among others. The solution supports retailer-integrated eCommerce fulfillment in both North America and Europe.
Shopatron provides a unique set of eCommerce, order fulfillment and order support capabilities for branded manufactures. Shopatron allows branded manufacturers to fulfill online orders through their retail partners, via in-store pickup and shipment, relieving retail channel conflict and allowing online orders to be picked up the same day they are placed.
“Having 500 manufacturers is a significant milestone for Shopatron,” said Ed Stevens, CEO of Shopatron. “Since our beginning, we have seen a steady increase in customer adoption which tells us that our product is solving a key problem in eCommerce. Shopatron’s recent expansion into Europe only strengthens our position as the category leader and we look forward to continued growth.”
Shopatron has added brands across multiple industries including: apparel, automotive, consumer electronics, crafts, sporting goods, home improvement, music, pet, and toys.
“Brooks was the first running shoe manufacturer to employ Shopatron’s unique e-commerce solution,” said Matt Minas, Web Store Manager at Brooks Sports, Inc. “Shopatron enables consumers to purchase directly from www.brooksrunning.com, while allowing Brooks’ retail partners to fulfill orders and develop direct relationships with consumers in their local area.”
