About the Brand

S.O.P. Distribution was started in 1990 by John Falahee in San Clemente, CA. After working with Tony Alva and licensing Alva Products for 10 yrs., John and Tony parted ways and John started S.O.P. (Somewhere off Pico — a reference to where it all began waaaaay back in Santa Monica and the new beginnings in San Clemente). Through its woodshop Precision Concepts, owned by John since the Alva days, S.O.P. started manufacturing and distributing its own brand of skateboards including New School, Arsenal and ATM as well as producing boards for other companies. It has added Iron Horse Skate Supplies and Blacksmith Trucks to its list of products as well as distributing a complete line of hardgoods including Thunder and Venture Trucks and NMB Bearings.

S.O.P. prides itself on distinctive quality, excellent customer service and a deep knowledge of the manufacture of the complete skateboard and all of its components including the culture and history of skateboarding.
