As an integrated service for Shopatron clients, the Shopatron Affiliate Network runs an affiliate marketing program that promotes our brand partners on high-traffic sites such as TheFind.com, ShopWiki.com and other similar shopping engines. These affiliate programs deliver visitors with high purchase intent, resulting in more sales for our Shopatron merchants.
Referral fees are paid to marketing partners only when that exposure becomes a completed sale. And because Shopatron client brands send their online sales to authorized retailers for fulfillment, everyone wins with our new affiliate network – customers, retailers and the brand.
Affiliate marketing partners come in many forms. Large-platform affiliates, such as search engines, send you shoppers who are searching for specific products or product categories. Other affiliate platforms, like comparison-shopping sites, help customers find products by aggregating information from retailers. And small content affiliates run a subject-specific website or blog – on camping, hunting, surfing or parenting, for example – and send highly targeted visitors to your site. When combined, these affiliates can produce significant traffic and maximize revenue opportunities for your website.
Shopatron works closely with affiliate platforms and partners to provide high-quality traffic at the best possible prices. When visitors purchase from your site, the order fulfiller pays a nominal fee to the marketing partner (2-10% of the order value, depending on the affiliate channel used in the transaction). The fee is well in line with the marketing costs retailers see from advertising in other channels and eCommerce platforms. All costs are communicated to the fulfillment partner when an order is placed into the Shopatron order exchange.
If the fulfiller is willing to pay the affiliate fee, he can request the order. Shopatron Affiliate Network orders are then awarded in the same manner as other Shopatron orders – based on location.
Although the Shopatron Affiliate Network will drive your brand into new arenas, you pay nothing for branding exposure – fees are paid only for a completed sale, otherwise known as “pay per acquisition.”
Shopatron Affiliate Network does all of the work for you – sourcing, filtering and organizing potential traffic sources. Shopatron, which has been providing brands with eCommerce solutions since 2001, even optimizes and distributes product information to empower affiliate partners to make the program as effective as possible.
And best of all, the program is automatically enabled when you are enrolled in the order exchange and provide product data in the Shopatron system.
Generate new revenue sources: The Shopatron Affiliate Network provides incremental revenue from new sources, driving more overall traffic to your site, resulting in more sales of your products.
Pay only for completed orders: Shopatron marketing partners send targeted visitors who are specifically looking for your products to your website. When those visitors make a purchase, the fulfiller pays an affiliate fee. However, when the visitors don’t buy immediately, your brand is still promoted at absolutely no cost.
Additional brand exposure on major platforms and targeted content websites: With the Shopatron Affiliate Network, the brands you represent are automatically submitted for publishing to affiliate platforms and content websites like Bing, Google and others. This increases the exposure of products you carry, whether or not they click over to the Shopatron website. There is the potential for future sales, a benefit to the manufacturer and the fulfiller.
Strengthen retailer relations through increased online sales: The goal of the Shopatron Affiliate Network is to increase sales. As retailers see more orders for your brand coming through the Shopatron order exchange, they will be encouraged to stock more of your brand, further leveraging your Shopatron program to increase overall sales.
