Founded in September 2000 and launched in August 2001 by Ed Stevens and Sean Collier, Shopatron has since revolutionized the way retail channels work together to put products in the hands of online shoppers.
Over the past decade, Shopatron has become the undisputed solution of choice for branded manufacturers seeking to expand both online and retail channel sales. Today, over 1,000 brands use the company’s Shopatron Manufacturer product to drive eCommerce sales, while allowing over 20,000 Shopatron-enabled local retail stores to fulfill their orders via in-store pickup or ship-from-store fulfillment.
In 2012, the company introduced Shopatron Retailer, an enhanced version of its platform optimized for the distributed eCommerce order management needs of multi-channel retailers. The solution allows these retailers to efficiently manage inventory across online and offline channels, providing online shoppers with more delivery options that drive them into local stores. Shortly after the initial launch, several flagship clients have adopted the technology, including Cost Plus World Market, Sport Chalet, Intermix, and Modell’s.

Ed Stevens, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Ed founded Shopatron in 2000, after more than 15 years of experience in retail and manufacturing.
Ed has a proven and varied background in both retail operations and in managing growing companies. Ed's business experience began at age 14, working at his family's retail furniture store in Akron, Ohio. Ed received his bachelor's degree in Russian Literature from Stanford University and began his career working in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the marketing department of Pirometer JSC, a producer of aviation components. Efforts in Russia led to Ed founding NORVEL, Ltd., a U.S.-based importer of components for the toy and hobby industries. Ed developed the brand name, market-entry strategy, and distribution network worldwide for NORVEL.
During his time at NORVEL, Ed saw a fundamental disconnect in the eCommerce marketplace, as he found his efforts to sell online put him into a competitive position with his retail partners. Ed leveraged his experience at NORVEL to found FirePoppy in 2000, and developed the model for the flagship product, Shopatron. In 2006 FirePoppy was re-branded as Shopatron. Ed has served as Chairman and CEO since the company's inception.

David Morrison, Chief Operating and Financial Officer
David is tasked with providing strategic and financial leadership for all business operations at Shopatron.
He comes to Shopatron after five years as CFO at the successful online retailer, Shop.com. During his time at Shop.com David directed all financial and administrative activities and successfully oversaw the company's acquisition by Market America Worldwide in December 2010. Previously, David spent four years as CFO at the international law firm Heller Ehrman, where he was responsible for all major business processes and functions, including domestic and international accounting, banking, billing and collections, budgeting, and payroll. Prior to that, he was CFO of Consolidated Freightways, a publicly-traded $2.4 billion shipping and logistics company.
David received his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from USC.
Sean Collier, Chief Customer Advocate
Sean leads Shopatron's efforts to reduce implementation times, improve our clients' service experiences, and guide our eCommerce platform to better meet customer needs.
Sean is a high output, talented operations executive who has held technology management positions with a range of growing technology businesses over the past 12 years, including SGI, Innovative Concepts, and D9L Technologies.
Sean joined Shopatron the month it launched, in August 2001, as Vice President of Engineering and Operations. As the company has grown, he has played a key leadership role in virtually all operational aspects of the company, including software development, implementation, customer service, and finance.

John Pincott, Managing Director, Europe
John is leading our European expansion and is responsible for developing the business to reach its full potential outside of North America.
With over 20 years’ experience in ecommerce, direct marketing, and retail, John is well positioned to help drive our European business to new heights. Having started his career at American Express Canada, he learned the fundamentals of a data rich and customer centric organisation from an early stage. He went on to hone his professional skills in Europe, helping to launch established B2C and B2B US mail order brands on a Pan-European basis. He made the natural transition to the ecommerce world at its inception, firstly at Altura Software, and then as part of the founding management team at SHOP.COM, a venture backed online retail business. John headed up International through the successful acquisition of the company by Market America Worldwide. Having worked through the merger transition, he joined Shopatron in September 2013.
John received his Bcomm degree from Queen’s University, Canada and his MBA degree from INSEAD, France.
Ken Callahan, Senior Vice President, Retailer Sales & Accounts
Ken is responsible for Shopatron’s Global Retail business.
Prior to joining Shopatron, Ken held sales leadership roles in the software industry with such companies as RedPrairie, SAP, and i2 Technologies. Ken cofounded his own consulting business that focused on supply chain and sales operations for leading consumer lifestyle brands like Columbia Sportswear, Mountain Hardware, and Sony.
Ken also spent 10 years on the management team of adidas, where he established the Team Business, grew adidas’ military sales, headed up the North American supply chain team, and contributed to the global supply chain team. In Ken’s early career, he led sales teams for consumer lifestyle brands like Reebok, Vuarnet, JanSport, Body Glove, and O’Neill.
Ken received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Justin Manning, Vice President, Manufacturer Sales
As Shopatron's Vice President of Manufacturer Sales, Justin is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of sales team for manufacturing clients in the U.S.
Justin came to Shopatron from Volusion, an eCommerce company based in Austin, Texas. During Justin's tenure at Volusion, the company grew its customer base more than fivefold and was named one of the fastest growing software companies in the U.S. Justin managed a team of inside sales consultants who, under his leadership, helped the company set numerous revenue records. Justin also served as an Enterprise Sales Consultant, in which he was responsible for building out the Enterprise Sales team. While in this role, Justin served as the sales lead and account manager for clients such as Nalgene, The University of Oregon, Motorola Canada, 3M Australia, and Kinerase.
Prior to Volusion, Justin held various sales executive positions in the technical, acquisition, and corporate spaces at Dell, Inc.
Justin received his bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
Loreal Lynch, Vice President, Marketing
Loreal is responsible for all aspects of Shopatron’s marketing, including strategy, demand generation and corporate marketing.
She comes to Shopatron after spending ten years planning and executing B2B marketing strategies at a variety of Bay Area-based technology companies. Her most recent experience included managing inbound and outbound lead generation programs at Engine Yard, a leading cloud development company that is backed by Benchmark Capital and Amazon. Prior to joining Engine Yard, Loreal worked at QuinStreet, a publicly-traded performance marketing company, where she managed profit and loss for a portfolio of websites that generated $12MM annually by generating leads at scale for clients in the for-profit Education industry.
Loreal received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from Tufts University.
Greg Squires, Vice President, Client Success
Greg runs our manufacturer accounts and online marketing groups, helping our customers grow sales online and leverage channel partners for online order fulfillment.
Greg's background is in marketing services, where he started a marketing consultancy to service software and retail businesses. He joined Shopatron in 2007 to establish Shopatron's online marketing services group, which now provides world-class services to our top customers. He also pioneered Shopatron's Marketplace program that connects brands to online marketplaces like eBay.com.
Greg has spent time internationally in Central America studying Spanish, and in Asia studying Mandarin.
He received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Brad Rubin, Vice President, Operations
Brad is chartered with delivering a world-class user experience across the Shopatron customer channels. He is responsible for building a scalable global support organization that delivers a high level of customer satisfaction, while driving the user feedback loop for the business to continually improve the product.
Prior to joining Shopatron, Brad was the Director of Operations for TransUnion Interactive. While at TransUnion Interactive, he helped position the business to scale at 35% growth rates while reducing operational costs by 20%, year-over-year. Brad helped deliver customized solutions for JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Washington Mutual, and other financial services clients.
Brad was also employed with Accenture in the Electronics and High Tech practice. At Accenture, he worked for various clients that included eBay, Solectron, KLA-Tencor, and AT&T.
Brad received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic State University.
Jim Ponton, Vice President, Finance
Jim is responsible for the financial management of Shopatron, including accounting, financial reporting, business modeling, and human resources. He is also responsible for cash management, monitoring the flow of funds in multiple currencies through the Shopatron system.
Prior to joining Shopatron, Jim was in charge of financial operations at Cellular One of San Luis Obispo during a period of rapid growth for the company and for the cellular telephone industry at large. During his tenure there, Jim gained experience in efficiently building an accounting department to handle tenfold growth in the space of four years. He also introduced auditing systems to handle a high volume of transactions, improved collection procedures, and instituted stringent cash management policies as the industry became increasingly competitive.
Jim also has finance and accounting experience in the medical and food production industries.
Jim received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University and is a Certified Management Accountant.
Nelson Flores, Vice President, Product
Nelson is responsible for product development within Shopatron.
Prior to joining Shopatron, Nelson led software engineering teams in a variety of environments, ranging from Macromedia Chile's Web Services department to Fundacion Chile, a joint venture between the Chilean Government and ITT Corporation to incubate high-technology ventures.
Nelson has over 10 years of experience in software engineering, specializing in high volume Web applications and data modeling and retrieval. Nelson helped architect and lead some of Shopatron's most complex projects.
Nelson received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Civil Engineering, with Maximum Honors, from Universidad de Chile.
Dave Cumberland, Vice President, Engineering
Dave is in charge of the stability, security, and scalability of Shopatron's production and development systems, as well as application development for both product development and client services.
Prior to joining Shopatron, Dave managed software engineering teams at TransUnion Interactive. In this position, he led the development of new application services and the support of various platforms and architectures.
Dave has also worked at several startup ventures. His experience ranges from educational software to government contracts.
Dave holds a masters degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His concentrations include software engineering, programing languages, and workflow modeling.
Shaun Moores, General Manager, Shopatron Europe
Prior to joining Shopatron, Shaun was a senior consultant providing direct to consumer websites for financial services companies in the U.K. Shaun architected software and Web service solutions designed to use leading edge Web technologies to maximize the return on investment of retail websites. In particular, Shaun directly managed the paid traffic efforts of large mortgage brokers using Google Pay-per-click and other online marketing efforts. These were organizations spending hundreds or thousands of dollars each month on direct to consumer advertising.
Shaun also spent eight years as a founder/manager for Mitron Inc., a company formed as a spin off from the Tektronix Development Corporation and located in Portland, Oregon. Mitron provided UNIX and PC software solutions that converted the databases of Electrical Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems into the machine programs required by automatic assembly and test equipment used in manufacturing. Shaun was the managing director of the U.K. operation that provided sales and support throughout the northern region of Europe. Mitron was acquired in 1992 by GenRad Inc. for $20M.
Shaun received a Masters degree in Engineering from Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and was a national engineering scholar sponsored by the UK Ministry of Defence.
